State Water Quality Certification | Cave Springs Scour Protection Project

On April 2, 2024, the comment period begins for the preliminary decision to issue a State Water Quality Certification1 to Red Rock Ranger District, Coconino National Forest, for the Cave Springs Scour Protection Project located in Coconino County, Arizona. The comment period ends May 2, 2024.

Project Information:

The Cave Springs Scour Protection Project is located within the Cave Springs Campground, in Oak Creek Canyon, north of Sedona, Arizona.

Based on the information provided and identified in Section 3, ADEQ certifies that the proposed activities for the Cave Springs Scour Protection Project will not violate applicable surface water quality standards in Oak Creek.
