ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Freeport-McMoRan Bagdad, Inc. applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge volumes dependent on storm flows from the Freeport-McMoRan Bagdad Mine to the Burro Creek in the Bill Williams River Basin in Township 14 N, Range 9 W, Section 29 (Outfall 001), Township 14 N, Range 10 W, Section 36 (Outfall 003), and Township 15 N, Range 10 W, Section 3 (Outfall 006) in Yavapai County, Ariz. Freeport-McMoRan Bagdad Inc. is an industrial copper ore extraction mine in Bagdad.
