PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposed Remedial Objectives Report Available for Highway 260 and Main Street WQARF Site

ADEQ has completed the Proposed Remedial Objectives (RO) report for the Highway 260 and Main Street Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Cottonwood, Arizona.1 Proposed Remedial Objectives are site cleanup goals  established with public input and consider current and reasonably foreseeable uses of state land and waters

The Highway 260 and Main Street WQARF site consists of two areas of groundwater contamination bounded by Mingus Avenue to the north, Mongini Lane to the south, the Verde River to the east, and South 15th Street, South Main Street and Highway 260 to the west in Cottonwood.  The site’s contaminants of concern are tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE).
