ADEQ has completed its review of the final remedial investigation (RI) report for the SFPP, L.P. Silvercroft Wash Release Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) site in Tucson, Ariz.1 The final RI report includes the final remedial objectives report and responsiveness summaries addressing comments, issues and concerns raised during the community involvement process.

Information

The SFPP Silvercroft Wash Release VRP site consists of a groundwater plume located west of the I-10 Freeway, north of Grant Road, along the Silvercroft Wash in Tucson. The plume is bounded approximately by the extension of Goret Road to the north, Silverbell Tree Drive to the south, Silver Island Way to the east, and Mountain Creek Way to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are benzene, toluene, ethylbenzen, total xylenes (collectively referred to as BTEX) and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE).
