ADEQ has completed the feasibility study (FS) for the Highway 260 and Johnson Lane Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Pinetop-Lakeside, Ariz. An FS is conducted to identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that appear to be capable of achieving established remedial objectives and to evaluate them based on comparison criteria to select a remedy.

Information

The Highway 260 & Johnson Lane WQARF site consists of a plume located in Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ. The plume is bounded approximately by the Jackson Lane alignment to the north, the east-west alignment of West White Mountain Boulevard (State Route Highway 260) and Burke Lane to the south, the western side of the Blue Ridge Unified School District property and Billy Creek to the east, and the Neils Hanson Lane alignment to the west.

Contaminants of concern at the site are tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE).
