COMMENT PERIOD BEGINS | Miracle Mile WQARF Site Operation and Maintenance Plan
On July 22, 2022, the comment period begins on the operation and maintenance (O&M) plan for the Early Response Action for the Miracle Mile Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Tucson, Arizona. The comment period ends on Aug. 22, 2022.

ADEQ has prepared an O&M plan for the for the Early Response Action for the Miracle Mile Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Tucson, Arizona.1 The system treats well water for the Miracle Mile site contaminant trichloroethene (TCE) for use by the North La Cholla Mobile Home Park water system.
The Miracle Mile WQARF site consists of areas of contaminated soil and plumes of contaminated groundwater located in Tucson. The site is bounded approximately by Curtis Road to the north, Prince Road to the south, Pomona Road to the east, and La Cholla Boulevard to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are trichloroethene (TCE), chromium, and hexavalent chromium.
