Forecast Discussion:

High pressure on this Friday morning is centered directly over the state, with an area of low pressure off the coast of San Francisco. As the low shifts northeast, it will push the high further south, opening the door for a more southwesterly flow this weekend. By the first part of next week, high pressure will build over New Mexico, resulting in the return of a normal monsoon flow.

Regarding air quality, we are forecasting ozone to be in the Moderate AQI category today and tomorrow before lowering back into the Good AQI category Sunday into the first part of next week.

Have a great weekend!
