ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

The permittee has applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.75 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Rainbow Valley Water Reclamation Facility to the unnamed wash, tributary to Waterman Wash in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 1 S, Range 2 W, Section 34, in Maricopa County, Ariz. The Rainbow Valley Water Reclamation Facility is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential, and commercial sources in Goodyear. Sludge is treated with a centrifuge and then thickened or dewatered for landfill disposal.
