Air Quality Permitting
On Oct. 21, 2022, ADEQ received the Class II Air Quality Permit application for the Rosemont Copper World Project from Rosemont Copper Company. The proposed operation consists of open-pit mining, including drilling, blasting, loading, stockpiling, and hauling of ore and waste rock; milling; leaching; a solvent extraction/electrowinning facility; a sulfuric acid plant; and supporting operations, such as internal combustion engines and storage tanks.
