PUBLIC NOTICE | Request for No Further Action Determination for Fletcher’s Tire & Auto Service in Phoenix, Ariz.
ADEQ has received a request for a No Further Action (NFA) determination from Bridgestone Retail Operations for Fletcher's Tire & Auto Service Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) site located in Phoenix, Ariz. The NFA report requests closure for soil and was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 49-181.
A determination of NFA means that ADEQ will not proceed with or require further remedial action at the site for the specific hazardous substances covered by the request, except in limited circumstances described in Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) §49-287.01(G).

Contaminants of concern at the site are volatile organic compounds (VOCs), polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) metals (arsenic, barium, cadmium, total chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and silver) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
