ADEQ has completed the Feasibility Study for the Highway 260 and Main Street Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Cottonwood, Arizona.1 The Feasibility Study identifies a reference remedy and alternative remedies that should achieve the site’s remedial objectives. It evaluates them based on comparison criteria to select a remedy that complies with A.R.S. § 49-282.06.2
Site Information
The Highway 260 and Main Street WQARF site consists of two areas of groundwater contamination bound by Mingus Avenue to the north, Mongini Lane to the south, the Verde River to the east, and South 15th Street, South Main Street and Highway 260 to the west in Cottonwood. Site contaminants of concern are tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE).
