This application is for a special waste generator, special waste receiving facility or shipper of special waste in Arizona for transport to a special waste receiving facility in Arizona to apply for a special waste identification number. Special waste includes waste that contains petroleum contaminated soils or waste from shredding motor vehicles. The I.D. number is to be used in the conjunction with the tracking of special wastes, and is assigned to a specific address and/or physical locations and is non-transferable. An owner of multiple properties or facilities which are not contiguously located must obtain a number for each separate property or facility. The I.D. numbers must be obtained prior to the initiation of shipment or receiving of any special waste. The I.D. number(s) is valid for the life of the facility.
