ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information
Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.01 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Black Mesa Ranger Station Wastewater Treatment Plant to an unnamed wash tributary to Oklahoma Flat Draw to the Little Colorado River in the Little Colorado River Basin in Township 12 N, Range 17 E, Section 32, in Navajo County, Arizona. The Black Mesa Ranger Station WWTP is a federally-owned wastewater treatment plant that receives domestic wastewater from Black Mesa Ranger Station and residences at the station in Overgaard. The digested solids will be collected from the digester through the use of a sewer vactor truck and transported to the Town of Taylor.
