PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposal to Issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit No. 77724 for South Yuma County Landfill

ADEQ proposes to issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit No. 77724 to South Yuma County Landfill, Inc. for the continued operation of a municipal solid waste landfill facility located in Yuma County, Ariz. The facility is subject to the requirements of the Federal Clean Air Act, Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona Revised Statute 49-426, and the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 18, Chapter 2. The facility emits the following air contaminants: non-methane organic compounds (NMOCs), particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 10 microns (PM10), particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 microns (PM2.5), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide (CO), and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs).
