On Aug. 16, 2024, the comment period begins for the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to update and establish solid waste fees throughout Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 18, Chapter 13, Solid Waste Management. The proposed rulemaking is to ensure ADEQ’s ability to implement waste management programs that protect public health and the environment and ensure proper solid waste inspections and compliance. The comment period ends Sept. 20, 2024.
