ADEQ has received a complete Class I prevention of significant deterioration (PSD) permit application for Air Quality Control Permit Number 95370, which was submitted by Nucor Steel Kingman LLC. The application is for the installation of a steel meltshop and associated equipment at Nucor Steel Kingman, located at 3000 W. Old Highway 66, Kingman, Arizona, in Mohave County. The permit application proposes to limit the following air contaminants: particulate matter (PM), coarse particulate matter with diameters 10 micrometers or less (PM10), fine particulate matter with diameters 2.5 micrometers or less (PM2.5), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), lead (Pb), fluorides, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and greenhouse gases (GHG).
