ADEQ has completed the feasibility studies (FS) for the East Central Phoenix – 24th Street & Grand Canal and 32nd Street & Indian School Road Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) sites in Phoenix, Arizona. An FS is conducted to identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that appear to be capable of achieving established remedial objectives and to evaluate them based on comparison criteria to select a remedy.

Site Information

The 24th Street and Grand Canal WQARF Site plume is approximately bounded by Thomas Road to the north, Sheridan Street to the south, 24th Street to the east, and 17th Street to the west. The 32nd Street and Indian School Road plume is approximately bounded by Indian School Road to the north, Harvard Street to the south, 32nd Street to the east and 16th Street to the west. The primary contaminant of concern at both sites is tetrachloroethene (PCE).
