COMMENT PERIOD BEGINS | Renewal of Air Quality Control Permit for CEMEX Yuma Hwy 95 Plant

On Dec. 16, 2022, the public comment period begins for the proposal to issue an Air Quality Control Renewal Permit to CEMEX Construction Materials South, LLC, for the continued operation of the CEMEX Yuma Hwy 95 Plant, a stationary crushing and screening plant located at Milepost 37 on U.S. Highway 95 in Yuma, Arizona.The comment period ends Jan. 15, 2023.

The facility is subject to the requirements of the Federal Clean Air Act, Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona Revised Statute 49-426, and the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 18, Chapter 2. The facility emits the following air contaminants: coarse particulate matter with diameters 10 micrometers or less (PM10) and fine particulate matter with diameters 2.5 micrometers or less (PM2.5).
