PUBLIC NOTICE | Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund Site Listing Activities for Bahama Avenue and Bimini Lane

On Sept. 16, 2021, ADEQ placed the Bahama Avenue and Bimini Lane Site on the Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) Registry.

The site contains contaminated soil and groundwater in Lake Havasu City, Mohave County, Arizona. The site contaminants of concern are tetrachloroethene, trichloroethene, thallium and arsenic. Approximate site boundaries are Industrial Boulevard to the north, Palo Verde Boulevard to the south, the Orion Lane alignment to the east, and London Bridge Road to the west. The boundaries estimate the geographic extent of known contamination and may change as new information becomes available.

The Site Eligibility & Evaluation score is 46 out of 120. The score is based on available information regarding the presence of hazardous substances at the site. The scoring of a site, its relative score, or placement on the registry does not necessarily represent a determination that the release of a hazardous substance from the site poses a threat to public health, welfare or the environment.
