Public Notice No. 20-33

Published in: Arizona Business Gazette on Dec. 10, 2020

AZPDES Permit No. AZS000019

ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) permit renewal to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Permittee

City of Glendale MS4 Phase I
7070 W. Northern Avenue
Glendale, Arizona 85303

Facility Information

The City of Glendale applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the discharge of pollutants to Waters of the U.S. from Glendale’s municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4). The City’s existing permit was issued in 2010, expired 2015, but has been administratively continued pending reissuance of this permit. The permit requires the City to continue to implement and maintain a Stormwater Management Program to include control measures designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable. The permit establishes measurable goals to assess the efficacy of control measure design and implementation.
