ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information
The City of Willcox applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.6 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the City of Willcox Wastewater Treatment Plant to Lake Cochise in the San Pedro – Willcox Playa – Rio Yaqui River Basin in Township 14 S, Range 25 E, Section 7, in Cochise County, Ariz. The City of Willcox Wastewater Treatment Plant is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Willcox. Sludge is sent to the sludge holding tank and then dewatered for landfill disposal.
