PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposal to Adjourn the Former Williams Air Force Base Restoration Advisory Board (RAB)

The Former Williams Air Force Base (AFB) Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) is composed of volunteer community members, as well as federal, state and local representatives who meet to advise the Air Force on environmental restoration efforts at the former base.

All Williams Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites now have a documented cleanup decision. The last remaining cleanup decision document (the Operable Unit 6 Record of Decision) was signed last spring and the majority of the Williams property has been transferred from the military for redevelopment under the Base Realignment and Closure Act. As a result of these factors, the Air Force invites the public to comment on the proposal to adjourn the Williams AFB RAB.
