PUBLIC NOTICE | Final 2015 Ozone Boundary Recommendations
On Aug. 30, 2016, ADEQ submitted its final 2015 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards Boundary Recommendations for the state to Governor Ducey, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) § 49-405. ADEQ’s recommendations were accompanied by comments received during the formal comment period and a comment responsiveness summary. ADEQ recommended two areas in the state for nonattainment: one area in Yuma County and another area comprising portions of Maricopa, Pinal and Gila counties. ADEQ also suggested three data-contingent alternatives.
