PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposed AZPDES Renewal Permit for Stone Castle Properties, LLC

Notice: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A907, the Director of ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to U.S. waters to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Information

Stone Castle Properties, LLC applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.0075 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Soft Winds Mobile Park Wastewater Treatment Plant to the an unnamed wash, tributary to the Agua Fria River in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 13 N, Range 01 E, Section 03, in Yavapai County, Arizona. The Soft Winds Mobile Park Wastewater Treatment Plant is a privately owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential sources at Soft Winds Mobile Home Park. A contractor pumps out and disposes sludge once per year.

Public Comment Period 

Dates: May 26, 2017 – June 26, 2017

All written comments received by ADEQ by the close of business 30 days after publication of this notice will be considered in the final permit decision. A public hearing request must be in writing and must include the reasons for such request. If there is a significant degree of public interest, the Director will hold a hearing in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code R18-9-A908(B).
