Overview

The fire remains at approximately 9,400 acres and is now 83% contained.

Smoke Synopsis

Note: This will be the last smoke forecast for the Crooks fire unless conditions change.

Thanks to great work by firefighters, smoke from the Crooks Fire has been minimal for the past few days, and this trend is forecast to continue.

Smoke that happens to be produced today will move toward the northeast, with no impacts expected. Tomorrow, there will be a bit of a wind shift with any smoke coming from the fire dispersing toward the east/southeast. Once again, smoke impacts will be minimal to none for areas around the fire, as smoke is expected to be light.
