PUBLIC NOTICE | Record of Decision Available for 7th Street and Arizona Avenue WQARF Site

ADEQ has issued a Record of Decision (ROD), which is deemed a final administrative decision pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §49-287.04, for the 7th Street and Arizona Avenue Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Tucson, Arizona. The ROD contains a description of the remedy, a responsiveness summary regarding all comments received on the proposed remedial action plan, a time for completing the remedy, and a total estimated cost.

Site Information

The 7th Street and Arizona Avenue WQARF site consists of a plume located in Tucson, Arizona. The plume is bounded approximately by Speedway Boulevard to the north, 8th Street and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks to the south, 4th Avenue to the east, and 10th Avenue to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are tetrachloroethene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE), and cis-1,2-dichloroethene.
