For Soil | There is little to no health risk unless there is contact with skin or ingestion of contaminated soil.

Site Summary:

  • Extensive history of monitoring and remediation prior to entry into the VRP in 2019.
  • ADEQ hosted a kick-off meeting on Sept. 17, 2019, to discuss a path forward for the site.
  • A work plan for additional characterization was submitted on July 8, 2020, and comments were issued by the VRP on July 28, 2020, requiring plan modification and resubmittal.
  • The VRP hosted a project plan meeting to discuss the work plan comments with the Volunteer on Aug. 27, 2020. A revised work plan was received on Dec. 1, 2020.
  • The VRP commented on the work plan on Dec. 18, 2020. A meeting to discuss project path forward was hosted on Jan. 11, 2021.
  • A revised work plan was received on February 9 and approved by ADEQ on Feb. 12, 2021.
  • Site characterization work commenced in April and continued through the second quarter of 2021.
  • An "Interim Site Characterization Report and Additional Site Characterization Work Plan" was submitted in June 2021. The VRP hosted a meeting with the Volunteer in July to discuss path forward and recommend a revised work plan and a separate Interim Site Characterization Report (SCR) submittal. The Interim SCR was received in August 2021 and approved by the VRP. The revised work plan is due by September 30, 2021.
