ADEQ has received a request for a No Further Action (NFA) determination from Kinder Morgan, Inc. for the Silvercroft Wash Release Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) site located in Tucson, Ariz. The NFA report requests closure for soil and was submitted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 49-181.

A determination of NFA means that ADEQ will not proceed with or require further remedial action at the site for the specific hazardous substances covered by the request, except in limited circumstances described in Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) §49-287.01(G).

Site Information

The site is located on portions of Lots 321, 328, 350, 351, 352 and 353; Lots 354, 355 and 356; beneath Silver Island Way; beneath Silverbell Tree Drive; a portion of the Common Area Easement between Silvercroft Wash and the residences to the east; a portion of the drainage swale between Lot 352 and Lot 353; and a portion of Silvercroft Wash in Tucson, Ariz.

Contaminants of concern at the site are benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (collectively referred to as BTEX) and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE).
