you wish to remain subscribed to this list, you need do nothing. To

NOTE: the first version of the 2009 MSGP Part 8 that posted Monday,
April 20 had some distracting formatting problems, which I have

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) solicits your
comments on the informal draft of its new industrial stormwater general
permit, to be known officially as the Arizona Multi-Sector General
Permit, or MSGP 2009.
The permit documents (permit, appendices, draft Fact Sheet and draft
forms) are posted in PDF format on ADEQ's web site at
http://www.azdeq.gov/environ/water/permits/msgp.html
Two informal stakeholders' workshops are planned during this informal
review period in Phoenix and Tucson on May 19 & 21, 2009, respectively.
Workshop details, including time, location, and how and when to submit
written comments, are posted at the web site. Watch for announcements
and updates via the above link, or on ADEQ's home web page at
www.azdeq.gov <http://www.azdeq.gov/> ("What's New at ADEQ?").
Following the informal stakeholder input, ADEQ anticipates posting a
final draft for a formal 30 day Public Comment period later in June
2009. ADEQ expects to implement the final version in the summer 2009.
All facilities in Arizona subject to ADEQ's MSGP 2009 will be required
to apply or reapply when the permit is issued. MSGP 2000 permittees of
record will be notified directly by US Mail when the new permit becomes
effective. Other interested stakeholders (those who are not current
permit holders) should bookmark the above-referenced web page and return
to it often.
Please be sure to forward this message to as many interested parties as
you know. ADEQ appreciates the opportunity to work with stakeholders in
developing this latest of AZPDES General Permits.
Apologies to anyone who receives duplicates of this message.
Sincerely,
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
