[ADEQ Media] Oct. 5 Press Conference in Yuma to Celebrate Pending Completion of Avenue B and C Colonia Wastewater System

WHAT: News conference regarding the pending completion of the final
portion of the Avenue B & C Colonia wastewater collection system. The
project, one of the largest grant awards for rural Arizona, will affect
thousands of residents by mitigating health and contamination threats to
the Colonia and protect Colorado River quality. WIFA Board Chairman and
ADEQ Director Benjamin H. Grumbles, USDA Rural Development Acting State
Director Ernie Wetherbee and Yuma County Supervisor Lenore Stuart will
be among the speakers at the event.
