Director Jake Brisbin, Jr. and pilot Matt Juneau was reported missing.
Yesterday crash remains were found near the U.S.-Mexico border. There

Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Director Steve Owens today
released the following statement:

"It is with great sadness that I extend our deepest sympathies to the
family of Commissioner Carlos Marin and to our colleagues at the
International Boundary and Water Commission for his untimely and tragic
death. This is a great loss, and we will miss him. Through
Commissioner Marin's dedication and support, Arizona border communities
benefited from much-needed water infrastructure improvements. Our
sympathies also go out to the families of those who also perished in the
same accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all at this
