Health message for Thursday, November 4: Unusually sensitive people
should consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Health message for Friday, November 5: Unusually sensitive people should
consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion:
Temperatures will continue to drop the next several days as high
pressure breaks down. A disturbance moving in from the west will be
forced north of Arizona. Winds will be mostly light at the surface, but
fairly strong around 18,000 feet. This should provide fairly good
vertical mixing for clearer skies this weekend.
For the second consecutive day, PM10 concentrations at the West 43rd
Avenue monitor reached the low MODERATE range. With the disturbance on
Saturday, increased mixing should help lower the PM10 levels back to
GOOD range. PM2.5 levels should remain in the GOOD range during this
period as well.

Check back on Friday for an expanded look of your weekend's weather and
air quality. Until then, have a good day! -J.Paul
