Health message for Wednesday, November 3: No health impacts are expected.

Health message for Thursday, November 4: Unusually sensitive people should consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion
The weather pattern will be changing over the next several days as high pressure weakens at the expense of a couple developing disturbances in the Pacific. Afternoon desert temperatures will retreat from a high of 90°F on Wednesday to the upper 70s by Monday and Tuesday of next week. If you can't remember that last time Phoenix saw temperatures this warm in November, just look back to last year where we set the record for November 3rd at 96°F.

Winds are forecasted to be fairly light with a few afternoon breezes Thursday and Saturday. No major blowing dust is expected as the fronts will stay well to the north of Arizona this weekend.

PM10 levels did manage to find their way into the lower MODERATE range at the Durango and West 43rd Avenue monitors. This was the highest monitored levels in Arizona on Tuesday. Similar readings can be expected through Friday, possibly improving by Saturday with increased winds to clear the air.

Check back tomorrow for the more. Until then, have a good day! -J.Paul
