Synopsis and Discussion
Little change is expected in the weather and local air quality through
Friday as high pressure remains the dominant feature. Change is
expected to come on Saturday as a large area of low pressure crashes on
shore late Friday through Sunday. This will bring clouds, increased
winds, cooler air, and a chance for desert showers on Saturday. Models
are a bit sketchy as to how much rain we will see out of this system.
Totals will likely range from 0.10 and 0.50 inches with slightly more in
the higher elevations of the Valley.
Air quality continues to be good here in the Phoenix forecast area with
no sign of deterioration anytime soon. Additional moisture this coming
weekend will keep pollution levels in the "Good" range of the Air
Quality Index (AQI) into early next week.
Check back tomorrow for more. Until then, have a good day!
