Health message for Monday, December 6: Unusually sensitive people should
consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Health message for Tuesday, December 7: Unusually sensitive people
should consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion
Slightly better dispersion is expected today as a weak disturbance
passes to the north of Arizona. This should help clear some of the
Valley's accumulated smoke, dust and other pollution from last week.
Mixing heights will retreat and morning inversions will remain fairly
strong the next several days, leading to an increase in particulates
once again. Air quality-wise, Monday should be the best day this week.
PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations are forecast to be in the low to mid
MODERATE range through Wednesday and Thursday, with PM2.5 possibly
approaching the health standard by Friday.

Check back tomorrow for the latest. Until then, have a good day!
