Health message for Thursday, April 8: Unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion
High pressure will push afternoon desert temperatures a few degrees above normal for this time of year, into the mid to upper 80s Thursday through Sunday. Air quality shouldn't be much of an issue with possibly a few ozone monitors reaching the lower "Moderate" category while particulates remain in the "Good" range.

The next chance for rain looks to be around Monday or Tuesday dropping temperatures back into the mid 70s for a few days. Overall, the next several days weather and air quality-wise look to be great.

Check back on Thursday for the latest. Until then, have a good day! -J.Paul
