Synopsis and Discussion
Little change is expected weather-wise in the Phoenix forecast area the next several days as high pressure to the west continues its influence. Afternoon desert temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s through early next week under mostly sunny skies and relatively light winds. Weak inversions will break by mid morning allowing any temporarily trapped particulates to begin to mix out vertically. This should keep the daily PM-2.5 and PM-10 concentrations in the "Good" range. Ozone will also stay in that category during this period with highest concentrations in the eastern part of the forecast area.

Check back tomorrow for a look at weekend's weather and resulting air quality. Until then, have a good day!
