Synopsis and Discussion
Tuesday was another "Good" air quality day for all pollutants in the Phoenix forecast area. A check of this morning's PM-10 concentrations shows that airborne dust is increasing Wednesday under these dry conditions. With high pressure firmly in control keeping moisture away, it's reasonable to believe that we will see "Moderate" PM-10 levels the rest of the week. Ozone will continue to climb higher today through Friday, possibly reaching the lower "Moderate" range at one or two sites as early as tomorrow.
Forecast models still expect near triple-digit heat Friday and Saturday, so keep those long sleeve shirts in the closet for a bit longer.
Check back tomorrow for the more. Until then, have a good day!
