consider reducing prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion
An upper level low and trough in the southern branch of the mid-latitude
storm track will approach the CA coast on Tuesday and then become nearly
stationary over the Great Basin by Wednesday. As a result, increasing
gradient winds are expected over the local forecast area each afternoon-
some blowing dust is possible Thursday afternoon but unhealthy levels of
PM-10 are not expected. The same winds will keep local ozone
accumulation well below average and Valley ozone levels remain below
their potential for the foreseeable future. Only locations well
northeast and east of the main metro area will be capable of ozone
concentrations in the moderate range of the Air Quality Index. -Reith
