Synopsis and Discussion
A near steady-state synoptic weather pattern looks likely the next few days as strong high pressure aloft remains anchored to the east of AZ - in a location currently not favorable for the import of much additional summer monsoon moisture. Despite very hot daytime temperatures, winds over the Valley from the surface to the 5-10K' layer are advertised to remain westerly for the foreseeable future. This set-up will continue to work against local ozone accumulation and no unhealthy concentrations are being predicted.
