Synopsis and Discussion
It's a good thing the Super Bowl will be on Sunday and not Monday.
They're expecting rain on Monday in Tampa, Florida. Believe it or not,
it will actually be warmer here in Phoenix (mid 70s) than in Tampa (mid
60s) on Sunday. Pittsburgh fans will take that over their mid 40s,
though.
Here in Arizona, high pressure will continue to strengthen trough the
weekend and into next week. This will allow desert temperatures to warm
into the upper 70s by Wednesday and Thursday of next week under sunny
skies and light winds. Both PM-10 and PM-2.5 concentrations have
slipped into the low "Moderate" range on Thursday. We'll likely see
PM-10 back off a bit over with the absence of weekday work-week traffic,
but it could rebound early next week. Overall, this will a fantastic
weekend to get outside and have fun, do some yard work, wash your car,
and yes, have a BBQ before, during and/or after the big game. Check
back Sunday for more. Have a great weekend! -J.Paul
