Synopsis and Discussion
Unchanging weather leads to unchanging air quality. High pressure
will remain planted over the west coast through the weekend, allowing
the Phoenix forecast area to reach the mid 70s through the middle of
next week. A slow migration of the ridge to the east will begin Monday,
paving the way for a disturbance late next week. There will be an
outside chance of a shower next Thursday, but that's about it. In the
mean time, weather will be almost perfect for this time of year,
especially for the tailgating parties before and after the AFC
Championship game between the Cardinals and Eagles in Glendale on
Sunday.
Both PM-2.5 and PM-10 concentrations continue to be in the lower
"Moderate" range. That shouldn't change much until next week. Check
back tomorrow for more on the weekend's weather and air quality. Until
then, have a good day! -J.Paul
