Synopsis and Discussion
It's been a pretty quiet week weather and air quality-wise. There
were a couple days with low "Moderate" particulate readings, but
everything has returned to the "Good" range.
High pressure will remain the dominant weather feature through the
weekend. This means we can expect mostly sunny skies, relatively light
winds (near stagnant at times), and afternoon desert temperatures
touching the low 80s. No complaints here!
Air quality should remain pretty stable, with all pollutants holding
in the "Good" range through at least Sunday. Particulates will continue
to slowly work towards the "Moderate" category under very stable, dry
conditions. A weak disturbance on Monday will likely increase winds a
bit, which could help disperse any accumulating particle pollution.
Check back on Sunday for the latest. Have a great weekend! -J.Paul
