Health message for Wednesday, September 24: Unusually sensitive people
should consider reducing prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.

Health message for Thursday, September 25: No health impacts are
expected.

Synopsis and Discussion
The mid-latitude storm track will remain well north of the local
forecast thru the end of the week. In its absence, strong high pressure
building over the Great Plains will create a strong pressure gradient
over Arizona and bring an episode of locally breezy to gusty easterly
winds on Thursday and to a lesser extent on Friday. There may even be
some areas of blowing dust over the southeast Valley on Thursday
morning; otherwise, hot and dry weather along with relatively light
winds and overall good air quality will be the rule thru this forecast
period. -Reith
