Synopsis and Discussion
Thursday is the first day of Spring here in the northern Hemisphere and
it's really beginning to feel like it now in the Valley of the Sun.
Afternoon desert temperatures have soared into the 80s and will reach
the upper 80s by Sunday and Monday under sunny skies and mostly light
winds. Some of the warmest locations could even see the low 90s! With
little change expected over the next several days, Ozone should continue
to hang in the upper "Good" range with possibly a monitor or two
touching the low "Moderate" category. Particulates will also remain the
low to mid "Moderate" range due to the lack of moisture and wind systems
to dampen the soil and blow the remaining suspended particulates out of
the forecast area. Check back tomorrow for the latest. Have a good
day! -J.Paul
