Health message for Wednesday, Mar 19: Unusually sensitive people should
consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion.

Synopsis and Discussion
Particulate levels have begun to increase a bit on Tuesday as a dry air
mass with little wind has allowed dust to linger in the air during the
lower mixing heights in the early mornings and late evenings. High
pressure will slowly pass overhead, moving east by Wednesday. Another
trough of low pressure will work its way across the west, staying well
to the north of Arizona. Thus, we do not expect to see any affects from
this system. High pressure will again return by the end of the week,
allowing the region to warm considerably, into the upper 80s by Saturday
and Easter Sunday. No rain or significant winds are expected through
the weekend, so Particulate level will generally be in the "Moderate"
range during this period. Increased mixing heights will keep them from
unhealthy levels. Check back tomorrow for any changes. Until then,
have a good day! -J.Paul
