Health message for Friday, Mar 7: No health impacts are expected.

Health message for Saturday, Mar 8: No health impacts are expected.

Synopsis and Discussion
It's going to be pretty nice temperature-wise this weekend and even
better next week as high pressure will be the dominant feature. Mid 70s
will be the rule on Saturday and Sunday with a disturbance pushing
through the region on Sunday, increase local winds a bit. Low 80s are
expected much of next week under mostly sunny skies. Increased mixing
heights are now very evident as Carbon Monoxide has dropped into the
single digits. Fine Particulates are also much lower than they could be
if inversions were stronger and lower. But this all verifies that
spring is right around the corner and summer heat is not far behind
that. We're now just over three weeks away from the kick-off of
Phoenix's Summer Ozone season. As of now, concentrations remain in the
"Good" range, but a couple more weeks of high pressure and plenty of
sunlight will help nudge those levels into the lower "Moderate"
category. Check back on Sunday for a look at your coming workweek's
weather and air quality. Until then, have a great weekend! -J.Paul
