Health message for Thursday, Mar 6: Unusually sensitive people should consider limiting prolonged exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion
A few clouds and occasional gusts are expected this afternoon, tapering to breezy condition on Thursday as another disturbance slides southeast through the Four Corners region. Cooler air will also filter across much of Arizona, dropping afternoon desert temperatures into the low 70s Wednesday through Friday. High pressure rebounds over the weekend, warming Valley temperatures back to near 80°F Saturday through Monday. Particulates will likely remain in the low to mid "Moderate" range the next several days with the dry, breezy conditions. As the winds die down this weekend, Coarse Particulates should also begin to settle. Fine Particulates should continue to be in the "Good" range with the favorable ventilation and increased mixing heights. With high pressure strengthening, ozone will likely increase into the upper "Good" range by early next week as well. Check back tomorrow for more. Have a good day! -J.Paul
