Health message for Tuesday, Jan 08: No health impacts expected.

Synopsis and Discussion
The last in a series of weather disturbances embedded within the
northwesterly flow aloft on the western flank of the massive upper level
trough over the western U.S. is currently bringing more rainfall to the
local forecast area. After its passage a large scale ridge position is
forecast to remain anchored over the eastern Pacific. Relatively weak
trough features will move over the ridge and brush by the local forecast
area the next few days. This will delay significant warming aloft and
also result in at least some breezes and cloud cover for the Valley thru
at least Wednesday. This in turn will help suppress strong overnight
inversion formation and aid in air mass ventilation. Thus, overall good
air quality is expected to continue thru this forecast period. -Reith
