Synopsis and Discussion
Another disturbance with rain is currently on the doorstep of the Phoenix forecast area. Showers will begin to develop around 11am and continue on and off throughout the day on Friday into the afternoon hours. The system will kick off to the east by early Saturday and clearing will take place at that time. High pressure will return Saturday afternoon through much of next week for warmer weather under mostly sunny skies and relatively light winds. Afternoon desert temperatures will reach 80°F by next Wednesday! Particulates will be in the "Good" range Friday through Sunday, with Fine Particulates (PM2.5) likely edging back into the low "Moderate" range as early as Monday. Check back on Sunday for a better look at your coming work-week's weather and air quality. Have a great weekend! -J.Paul
